It's here at last, and it's a monster! Carrying on the Napoleonic Basics series, this is the French Infantry. Dealing with the make up of both ligne and legere (line and light) regiments and their formations this video is an introduction into French infantry units. I've concentrated on the make up of unit to allow people to understand who goes where and why some of the troops have fancy epaulets. I'm going to be concentrating on France for the next few videos, but I won't be skipping battle reports or other topics that catch my fancy!
