HeavyBUCKStylez Dance Recital w. Haeni Kim | Into the Woods by Fay Wildhagen | Surabaya, Indonesia

Hi everyone! Let me share a moment from my experience that I had with HBS in Surabaya, Indonesia. This was my very first time being in Indonesia and also creating something with other crew.. I was very excited and very nervous at the same time.

How they usually choose to move was very different with my choices, especially for this set, It was a huge challenge for us but also a huge opportunity to learn from each other. It was their 10 years anniversary show, I felt too crazy to just see them preparing all those sets while they were preparing this one with me in 4 days. At first I was imagining that they do just few more sets when they said they are actually preparing more sets but.. There were around 10 more sets they were preparing all together. Can you imagine?! However I could see them pushing themselves, each other with so much supportive energy during rehearsals, I just learned so much through their love, passion for dance.

I say this a lot, but again, sometimes we easily forget how much efforts we put to just dance together, to make these happen and that’s incredibly awesome! Hope you guys enjoy our show, and also, thank you HBS for letting me to be there and exchange this journey with you guys, really. I miss you all!
