MOSFETs are considered low-power devices compared to BJTs, but BJT power draw is just whatever base current is required to drive the collector current and has nothing to do with the actual signal involved, whereas MOSFETs draw current during switching which makes their power draw frequency dependent. Low frequency signal, BJT draws more power; High frequency signal, MOSFET draws more power. But here's the thing: Floating inputs, susceptible to parasitic capacitance and stray induction due to parts, layout, and the EM environment, don't have enough power to really do much to BJTs but MOSFETS, therein lies the issue.
