The backyard Koipond of a Koi Addict!

This Koipond is located in The Netherlands in the backyard of two team-members from KoiAddicted.

The 50 ton Koipond is filtered by an Profidrum 65/40 drumfilter, a big Profidrum moving bed filter and 2 DIY Bakkishowers filled with more than 300kgs of Bacteriahome, Glafoam and Hexamedium. Three pumps ensure a circulation of 50 kubic meters every hour.
The colourful Koi in the pond are between 45cm and 87cm and are all Japanese Koi, mainly from Niigata, the "north" of Japan.

The garden is a Japanese style garden with more than four tons of rock in it. Off course there is also a lot of bamboo,
boxwood and several types of Azalea and Japanese acer, which makes the garden "nice and natural".
