I took my FTX Kanyon (V2) 1/10XL trail runner to the Peak District in the UK to see how a budget trail truck copes with the terrain. It did not disappoint!
It's highly capable of getting up the muddy, rocky tracks and fording across streams (more than I was). It left me for dead on more than one occasion and that was in low gear. For the price I don't think you can do much better.
