We started the morning in the best way possible: breakfast by the ocean at The Boardwalk at The Boulevard in General Luna. First stop was our friend Tintin’s restaurant, Paaso, for a classic silog breakfast. Of course, that wasn’t enough, so we grabbed some mouthwatering kebab right after, because why not? Good food plus an ocean view, an amazing way to start the day!
From there, the whole family hit the road and drove up to Burgos along Siargao’s stunning coastal road. We even did a bit of off-roading on the way to Dirty North Kitchen, only to find out they’d run out of ingredients (it is what it is here on the island). Instead, we made our way down to Lokal Hub, where we were rewarded with delicious Filipino fusion dishes and the star of the day: coconut ice cream that just hot the spot.
We wrapped up back at our accommodation with an epic family dinner loaded with seafood, lechon, and so much more. By the end, this trip had officially turned into a full-on food trip and we’re definitely not complaining 🍽️
