In this video I am repairing the extremely rare cuckoo clock. This clock is key wound but weight driven much like a French Morbier clock or a Seth Thomas OG clock. I have asked my Black Forest expert Valentin Weber if he has ever seen a clock like this and he told me no.
In the video you will discover that the movement is a Chauncey Jerome movement that has been modified to make the cuckoo work.
Doing a google lens search the movement that is in this clock is the same movement that Chauncey Jerome used in their 30 hour OG clocks and I found one on ebay that is weight driven just like this clock but it isnt for a cuckoo clock.
