Take a look at this 94 inch high quality radio control model airplane kit that is almost ready to fly right out of the box. This is my first RC hobby video which will include a series detailing the assembly, modifications and flying of a large scale RC model airplane project. Any aviation enthusiast can appreciate this hobby that has evolved into an amazing way to appreciate war birds and the art of flying a scale replica of the Japanese fighter that dominated the Pacific theater during World War II. The kit is the Black Horse Model A6M Zero a 94" RC Scale Model of the famous Japanese fighter that played havoc for the allies. it will take weeks of assembly and it will culminate in a flight from our community airstrip which is 3500 feet long. This model airplane really gives a realistic feel of the actual aircraft due to its large size. I live in aviation airpark and many of my pilot/neighbors engage in flying radio control aircraft right from our back yards. Being the proud owner of a 1958 V-Tail Bonanza, models that actually fly have given me a rewarding layer of experience and knowledge of aviation. I've been a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics for almost four decades and really enjoy the hobby. The experience of building models is a major part of it but the time and effort can be really extensive. This incredible aircraft kit offers the owner a great way to get right to the fun of flying without the years of effort involved in building something like this.
In this series of videos I try to give the viewer an inside look at the quality of the kit and the difficulties you might encounter if you choose to build one.
