In this tutorial series, I'll show you how to use Python and pandas to scrape historical NHL data and create a winning data set. Whether you're a hockey fan or just want to learn more about web scraping and data analysis, this tutorial is for you. By the end of this series, you'll be able to scrape data and start building your own data sets. Follow along as I walk you through the process step by step, and don't forget to leave a comment if you have any questions or suggestions.

In Part 1 we looked at some basics, such as getting up and running using Anaconda as our python environment, as well as Jupyter notebook. Then we built the first part of our scraper, where we collect previous season game dates from hockey-reference.com!

In part 2 we will build on what we learned and built in part 1 of this series, to finish our scraper! This will include gathering data from Natural Stat Trick and using the dates we collected in video one to loop through and gather NHL hockey data that will then be saved in a CSV. By the end of this video, you will have thousands of games worth of data!
