When is it time to have Cataract Surgery?

Many patients have cataracts but don't know when it's a good time to remove them. Sometimes a doctor might recommend to wait, and at times a doctor might recommend to have them removed. Within a healthy eye is a clear lens. As we become older, that lens becomes cloudy. The cloudy lens is called a Cataract. In cataract surgery, the cloudy lens is removed and replaced with a clear artificial lens implant.
