st Louis county MN just vandalized and stole my property!

Video playback is sped up, it took them a lot longer. 4 county employees were present.

Our tax dollars hard at work! How many workers does it take to cut a stake? What a joke! (Like most of St. Louis County)

Vandalized and stole my stake. claims it violates 160.2715 RIGHT-OF-WAY USE; but if you read it, nothing in there is what I have done. There was a county squad that was there as well, complicit in the crime.

Just another reason why St Louis county is such a joke, they think it's ok damage your property and that's fine for them to do. Gave me no time to remove it myself, because the letter came the night before they cut it out.

The worthless sheriff's office called me, said the county had the right to cut that down and it's not a crime because it's in the "right of way" but it's far enough off the road that the substandard plow driver can easily plow without an issue. The county provided me with no proof or statute that says that stake can't be placed there. It's ok for the plow to continually damage my property though, because "they are doing their job" is what the deputy told me. Well, I'm going to be doing my job protecting my property from repeated damage because the plow driver can't figure out how to plow properly. I do have other options that I plan on using to prevent the plow from continually damaging my property, I'm not going to let the government think they can do whatever they want and not be held accountable. What if a car is broke down on the shoulder, someone is walking, there is an obstruction, does that give the plow driver carte blanch to whatever they want because "they are just doing their job?" It most certainly does not! I said, if I'm breaking a law, please show me where, she said "good luck with that, we'll see how that works out for you." Since I'm not breaking the law, I have absolutely nothing to worry about!

This is what happens when you have idiots in government positions thinking they know how things should be ran and work should be performed. This is how PATHETIC St. Louis County is!! Looks like more public funds will be wasted contesting this issue the then what could have been easily resolved by adding the bump-out that is needed to prevent the property damage from happening. I have talked with others and there are several instances where the plows are doing the same thing in different locations. Aren't we, the public, who pay public servants like public works and the sheriff's office supposed to be here to help support the people who pay their salaries instead of fighting them and making their lives more difficult? Our county commissioner's don't care, as long as they are getting paid, screw whomever got them there, that's their problem. Can't stress enough how much of a joke St. Louis county has become. Absolutely ridiculous.

I will still be pursuing legal recourse for the damages the county has done because they need to be held accountable and don't get to do whatever they want because they are simply "doing their job." I will be looking into legal recourse for this as well since the joke of a sheriff's office is ok with the county commiting crime. I am disgusted and sick about how our country has turned into a place where we have to sue others to get them to do the right thing or to stand our ground. Everywhere you go, places don't care if/how they screw you over or cheat you or whatever the case may be. Our society is such a sad and pathetic excuse of what it once was.
