Day 20: Do Not Lean on Your Own Understanding
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Proverbs 3:5–6 NIV
In every situation, it is easy to decide on our own or try to control things ourselves. But the Lord is reminding us not to lean on our own understanding, because human wisdom is limited.
Let us continue to trust the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, so that in every decision we make, when it is led by God, we may experience the fullness of His glory in our lives. For when God moves, He moves in ways higher than ours, and His plans are greater than ours.
