Two highly toxic chemicals that would ignite spontaneously when mixed were used as fuel and oxidizer on the Titan II. They could be kept on the missile for years at a time at a certain temperature. This allowed the Titan II to launch at a moment's notice but required some very special equipment and procedures if it had to be removed. Join Mike Riggs at the Titan Missile Museum for an explanation of some of these displays.
