My very first trip to Africa took me to Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. As a retired solo traveler, I was excited about what to expect. Despite all the preparation and informations from countless videos, I felt more and more excited each day as the day of departure drew closer. What I experienced during those three weeks was beyond my wildest dreams. The landscapes, the locals, and all the animals were simply unforgettable. Being just a few meters from elephants is magical. It will be forever in my heart.
