*Notes on the very slightest fragrance - both ingredient decks listed one of the last ingredients as Rosa Damascena Flower Water which may have influenced the scent. Again, the scent is barely detectable, but once on the lips, I was unable to notice the scent.

I tested these both out on 3 days each. For reference, my lips typically feel dry and I carry around a lip gloss or balm in order to add hydration frequently (approximately 1 - 2 times every hour).

Shine Claims:

Infuses lips with rich color and lavish moisture for a bold, captivating look that lasts up to six hours. *Very moisturizing, a sensation that lingers even after the color has been wiped away. Very impressive moisture. However, I felt compelled to reapply after approximately 4 hours to add hydration and refresh color.

Accentuates lips by enhancing dimension and creating a vibrant luster in just one swipe. *Very lustrous appearance and fuller appearance.

Lightweight, dewy texture becomes one with lips. *Lightweight feel & dewy texture. Not sticky.

Expertly calibrated with lip care ingredients for optimal, lasting moisture.*Lasting moisture unlike typical lip products I've tried.

Glides on evenly and precisely with a newly re-designed applicator for expert control.*Applicator assists in even and precise application.




Matte Claims:

Infuses lips with creamy, matte color and creates soft contours for a seamless, saturated look. *Very saturated color. Creamy, silky feel with seamless, smooth application.

Paints youthful contours and creates lush dimension to accentuate lips. *Quite a bit of depth to the color, rich pigment.

Expertly calibrated with lip care ingredients for optimal, lasting moisture. *Moisture is excellent, but lasts approximately 3.5 hours for me.

Cloaks lips without smudging for up to 8 hours of luxurious color.
Glides on evenly and precisely with a newly re-designed applicator for expert control. *No feathering. 3.5 hours before need to reapply. Very smooth and even application.
