Hi friends and welcome to my Advent Calendar Series, where I'll be sharing tutorials for 27 crochet patterns to make your own advent calendar!
In this video I'll be showing you how to crochet these Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus Appliqués! Hang these on your advent calendar, sew onto projects, or use them as tree decorations!
Difficulty: Advanced Beginner
Finished Sizes: 3" x 2" (Santa) / 2" x 2" (Mrs. Claus)
Supplies: (affiliate links)
Medium (4) weight yarn (I used I Love This Cotton!)
Taupe (5 yards), White (7 yards), Red (3 yards)
3.75mm (F) crochet hook ( https://amzn.to/3sILc0g )

Red and Black embroidery or crochet thread for eye lashes and smile - ( https://amzn.to/3R5bcMr )
Notes:
The CH at the beginning of each row/round does NOT count as a stitch.
Add hanging loops to your appliqués with 2-3" long strand of yarn, ribbon, or string.
Wet or steam block your appliqués to relax the stitches and flatten them out.
