DK, light weight cotton yarn (I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK),
2.75 mm crochet hook,
black embroidery thread,
safety eyes 6 mm,
yarn needle, pins and scissors,
toy stuffing/fiberfill.
Abbreviations:
US terminology
sc - single crochet,
mr - magic ring,
ch - chain,
st - stitch,
inc - increase (2 sc in 1 st),
dec - decrease (sc 2 together),
hdc - half double crochet,
ss - slip stitch,
[...] - total number of stitches.
