I hope y'all remembered this bus from the 90s, it's the TTC 1998-99 New Flyer D40LF!
Toronto Transit Commission 7300-7350 were New Flyer Industries D40LF buses built between 1998 and 1999, and delivered in 1999. They were originally supposed to be part of an order for 100 RTS buses built by Nova Bus. When Nova realized that they could not meet the delivery schedule, the order was amended and the TTC acquired 51 buses from New Flyer instead.
These were the first diesel low-floor buses the TTC owned, and the last buses received by the TTC in the 20th century. The fleet was originally based at Old Eglinton before receiving UWE connections when the new garage opened on Comstock Road in 2002; they were moved to Queensway when the 75xx started arriving.
Beginning in early 2008, the fleet underwent a midlife rebuild. The first to be completed was 7331, which had experienced a fire in May 2004 and had been in storage ever since; the last unit, 7345, was completed in December 2009. All buses have bike racks, automated announcements, and CCTV cameras. In August 2009, driver barriers were spotted being installed in a few buses. Installation was complete on the rest of this series by late 2009 to early 2010. They replaced the old Luminator MAX3000 to Luminator Horizon destination signs.
7308 retired in 2010 due to an engine fire and all of these buses retired in 2016, may these buses RIP :'(
