Welcome back to my channel. I'm taking a break from Aerosmith to pay homage to a great rocker - Marvin Lee Aday. You may know him as "Meatloaf". Today would have been his birthday but he is no longer with us.
Rest In Peace, man. This song is from the "Bat Out of Hell" album released in 1978 and in my opinion, in the top 50 greatest rock 'n roll albums in history.
The bassist is a fellow named Kasim Sulton, apparently Todd Rundgren's bass player from Utopia. Frankly, I've never heard of him before or since but I sure do like his playing - although this is sort of my rendition (take 2 - warts and all!!).
Fun Fact: Some of this album was done at the House of Music in nearby West Orange, NJ.
Anyway, I'm playing my Lakland Skyline Series Geezer Butler bass into my Sansamp then thru my Focusrite Scarlett Solo and outputting directly into my Zoom Q2n-4k camera. Pardon the buzz. Also pardon me rushing the beat a little as I was "all revved up"...
That being said, if you like what I'm doing, please click the "like" button and feel free to leave a comment.
I hope you like it. Thanks for tuning in and stay tuned for Aerosmith "Cheesecake" coming soon.
