This is a shortened version of the Duluth Stomp, a square dance written in 1953 by Lloyd Yesberger of-- yep!-- Duluth, MN. Much of Yesberger's intro and later sections have been omitted here, but the recording here (twice for the side couples leading the figure) does illustrate the distinctive section of four sets of waves. Called here by Lisa Greenleaf at the Ralph Page Dance Legacy Weekend, Durham, NH, January 13, 2017. Music by the Sugar River Band.
