Window - The Album Leaf

This is a video I made for the beautiful instrumental song Window, by The Album Leaf.
In watching it, you'll notice an obvious theme that corresponds with the title of the song. :)
I just discovered The Album Leaf recently when watching Rob Bell's NOOMA videos. This was the first song of theirs I heard, in the video called Matthew.
That video really spoke to me.
For one, Bell was talking about someone named Matthew (which is my real name), which of course got my attention, and he was also talking about grief, about losing loved ones, and only the day before I watched the video a close friend of mine, Elizabeth Walton (whom I dedicated my last video to) passed away.
What Rob Bell had to say really encouraged me and helped me with everything that I was feeling, but also I noticed this song, which led me to discover what is now one of my favorite bands. :)
Anyways, this is a beautiful song, and I really wanted to make some kind of video for it, and the theme to go with it was obvious to me. :)
The quote at the beginning of the video is one I found recently that I really like.
The context where I found it was in a book I ran across where the author was talking about vision, and how we perceive the world around us and how that effects the way that we live.
All of us, in a symbolic sense, look out of our windows (our eyes, our hearts and our minds, in other words) and see the world in different ways. I see the world from one perspective, but there are billions of other perspectives.
I believe that some perspectives are more narrow, and some are more broad, some are more true, and some are more false.
So my hope and my prayer for myself and for everyone is that our perspectives, our worldviews, our windows, would be broad and true and would even open to let the wind blow through them, and though there is much mud in our world, that we may see the stars too, and that instead of always looking up at them from our windows, that we may walk under them, and even more walk with the One who made them. :)
