Christ is the fullness of the Father. The word fullness, translated from the Greek pleroma, is a technical term. The sum total of the power and divine attributes. Paul used the word eight times. The word dwell means to be at home permanently. Christ’s fullness was part of His essential being. John 1:16 tells us, in Him swells all of the fullness bodily of the Father. The natural mind is at war with God. Col. 1:21; Eph. 2:11; Rom. 8:8; 2 Cor. 5:19; Col. 1:20; 2 Thess. 1; Eph. 1:9-10. All things belong to Him. Jn. 1:14; 1 Pet. 2:24. Christ paid for our sin. Rom. 5:11. This was completed on the Cross. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. Jn. 5:23-24. Is Jesus pre-eminent in your life?
