At just four years old, Kate Littel was diagnosed with pseudarthrosis of the tibia and fibula, a rare condition that ultimately led to a below-the-knee amputation of her left leg. After surgery at Mayo Clinic in 2014, Kate and her family turned to Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation for physical therapy and prosthetic care.
Fast forward more than a decade: Kate is now 15, a varsity volleyball player at Otsego High School and proof that grit, support and the right care can change everything.
