Origin of the Universe and the Vedic Philosophy

This video is the second segment of the third part of my attempt to unravel life's mysteries with the help of Vedas, the world acclaimed ancient texts of Classical Ancient India which are the vast reservoir of complete knowledge, which includes knowledge belonging to the physical world as well as a robust philosophy of the non-physical or spiritual world.

The video is an attempt to provide an extension to a comprehensive understanding of the concept of Cosmic Consciousness provided by the first segment of part 3. It delineates how the Cosmic Consciousness creates the universe out of itself.

The video first describes the scientific Big Bang theory on the Origin of the Universe and mentions the questions left unanswered by the theory. Next it provides the Vedic view of the Origin of the Universe in a comprehensive way and shows how it answers those questions. The Vedic view also resolves the dilemmas being faced by Big Bang Theory.

The video then talks about the animate and inanimate nature. It describes nature’s five elements which are the constituents of all matter and nature’s three qualities which define characteristics of the matter. It also explains how the indivisible Brahm, gets manifested as the universe with innumerable parts and how, in the ultimate analysis, mind and matter are not different from each other.
