I am a Maranao and honestly, this is my first time knowing everything about this.
I really do not know how the Khutbatun Nikah is being done. Ever since I am witnessing one, I am always on the bride side and staying in the "Pugad" (cage) with the bride.
I took a video of this part because the Imam discussed the conditions of marriage and the reasons behind the Maranao wedding where the wali and the groom shake hands and why it is being covered with White cloth. Ma Shaa Allah! It is such a beautiful culture.
