EU4 - Mare Nostrum Achievement - Restoring Roman Empire

I started as France in 1502, where large portions of the cores are already recovered and France holds Naples. My first objective was to make a land bridge from the Southern Italy region to France and from there expand outwards. I quickly took West East Britain and Holland to gain control in the English Channel trade node. I landed alliances with Spain who removed Portugal and Commonwealth in the meantime. Commonwealth eventually became a Junior Partner of me which helped out tremendously. It took me a couple of wars to push back the Ottomans but at the end of the game they only had one province left. Operation Remove Kebab almost Succeeded.
