In preparation for the 2025 Holiday Season, the MTA brought back the holiday lights trains for the 2025 season on the commuter rails. This time, two sets of trains (one set of M8's like last year, and a P32AC-DM set) for Metro-North and a set of M9s for the Long Island Rail Road. Here we see all 3 trains at Grand Central Terminal and additional footage of the LIRR M9 set at Woodside coming from Port Washington, and Jamaica station bound for Far Rockaway.
