「握緊你身邊的步槍」原本是加拿大電子遊戲「孤島驚魂5」的插曲，在遊戲中作為伊甸門武裝分子的宣傳歌曲之一。歌曲的隱意是諷刺現實中典型的保守派美國人。而讓製作者意想不到的是，美國保守派不僅沒有被這首歌冒犯到，反手就把這首歌佔為己有了。近幾年這首歌反而被美國保守派捧成「戰歌」，並被配上了各種右派時政、迷因的影片。我覺得中華民國與中共的抗爭配上這首歌也很合適，所以就做了這個影片。
"Keep Your Rifle By Your Side" is originally a song from the Canadian video game "Far Cry 5." In the game, it is a propaganda song for the Eden's Gate militarized cult. The song, alongside the game, is designed to mock the typical rural American. However, in recent years, many Americans have appropriated this song as their own battle cry and it has since been set to many political and meme videos. I thought the Republic of China fighting Communist China would be quite fitting too, so enjoy!
