Simple Scud Fly Pattern - Troutlore Fly Tying

There are so many subtle nuance to focus on when tying scuds, and so many variations, that you could have several fly boxes dedicated to just this one little water bug. However, if you're looking for a good all-rounder, a confidence fly, then it's hard to go past this SImple Scud fly pattern. Easy to tie, and very effective, plus it's easy to achieve some variety with a change of colour in wire, scud back, and dubbing!
