Mercedes AMG GT4 Race Car OnBoard & Sound at Monza Circuit!

Jump on board one of the Nova Race Mercedes AMG GT4 in action around Monza Circuit and driven by Francesco De Luca and Luca Segù during the 3rd round of the Campionato Italiano GT Sprint (Italian GT Spring Championship). The drivers and the guys of the team allowed me to put my GoPro during the second free practice session (actually the first dry one of the day) but I didn't manage to get much footage due to a long red flag period happened at the beginning of the session which forced Luca to do only 4 laps. Being out on track, I didn't manage to turn off my GoPro so when the session restarted with Francesco behind the wheel, the Hero 7 run out of battery and it only managed to record his first two laps. In addition to this, I noticed I badly mounted the GoPro (too low) so I tried to ask them if they could send me their best lap in qualifying, which they kindly provided me. External footage is from the humid FP1, FP2 and Sunday's Race 2.

The Mercedes AMG GT4 derives from the road-legal AMG GT R but it features all the adjustments and mods required to be raced in the GT4-class. The engine is the GT R's one, a 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 engine, but slightly restricted (something near the 500hp mark, compared to the 585 of the street legal car) in order to comply with the Balance of Performance.
