Before the red——for double bass, live electronics and audiovisual

The work is an interactive audiovisual work that aims to capture the flow of time and the intangibility of emotions, using AI algorithms to construct intricate sensory scenes. The emotional double bass and the cold electronic timbre collide and fusion alternately in strong contrast, taking the audience from the tangible reality to the abstract sound world. In the unpredictable changes, in the tense soundscape, on the border of the red limit, from faint whispers to fierce confrontations, through limited time to reach the boundless sound field. The work gives the performer more space for expression by measuring the electromyographic signals of the performer, uses multiple interactions between audition and vision, uses machine learning model and neural network model, to closely connect the gesture, audition, and vision.
