Iranian Police Scuffle with Protesters in Rasht | VOA News

UGC images posted on October 12, 2022, show female protesters being roughly handled by security forces, including a man that appears to be the deputy governor of Rasht, Gilan province.

Protests have erupted in cities around the globe, since Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Kurdish woman, died on September 16 in the custody of the morality police in Tehran who arrested her for allegedly failing to observe the Islamic republic's dress code for women.
