🚨 NOW WITH KOREAN SUBS // 이제 한국어 자막과 함께 🚨
Designing covers is my biggest sticking point when it comes to making photo zines. With a lot of time and practice though, I've worked out one simple rule to guide my design efforts as a hapless non-designer: Have reasons for your choices.
In today's vid I go through the process of making 1 design that works for 12 different zine covers. In my case that lead to getting out the old screen printing table and printing the title on paper ribbons. I also show the little extras I include with each zine to make it feel like something special.
Don't let design despair slow you down. Keep it simple and you'll find a way to DIY the cover of you next photo book or zine. Promise.
