The Chevy Trailblazer had a "cool" version called the Chevy Trailblazer SS. LS powered, fun, and fairly quick. However the unsung hero of American engines is actually in the more basic trim level - the 4.2L Atlas inline six engine. Nicknamed the "ameri-barra" the engine is more than capable than over 500 horsepower when a big turbo is slapped on.
