This video covers Day 8 of the 2023 Spring Arch Rally by the Natural Arch and Bridge Society. This rally was centered around the Valley of Fire State Park in southern Nevada. Bob Robinson chose the hike called "Bowl of Fire South" for this day's hike. The drive was along the Northshore Road in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area and turned off onto Callville Wash Road to the trailhead.
Bob didn't pick up any names of the arches on this hike; many of them may have been undocumented, so just enjoy the sight of these arches. Some of them were really spectacular. We also had a bonus encounter with a Gila monster, Bob's first-ever sighting of North America's only venomous lizard.
