1 Switch, 2 Socket, 1 Indicator & 1 Fuse Connection
This connection is commonly used in domestic and small commercial wiring to control and protect electrical appliances safely.
In this wiring setup, one fuse is connected in the phase (live) line to provide protection against overload and short circuit. From the fuse output, the phase wire goes to the switch. The switch controls the supply to both sockets.
When the switch is ON, phase supply is given to the two sockets and the indicator. The indicator lamp is connected in parallel after the switch, so it glows whenever the switch is ON, showing that power is available at the sockets.
The neutral wire is connected directly to both sockets and the indicator. The earth wire is connected to the earth terminals of both sockets for safety.
Working Principle
Fuse protects the circuit.
Switch controls ON/OFF supply.
Indicator shows power status.
Two sockets provide power to appliances.
This type of connection is simple, safe, and widely used in household electrical installations.
