Autumn Bicycle Journey Around Yatsugatake: Encounters with Deer, Tanuki, and the Whisper of Nature
This autumn, I set out on a solo bicycle journey around the Yatsugatake Mountain Range — one of Japan’s most beautiful and diverse natural areas. My goal was simple: to feel the rhythm of the mountains, capture the vibrant colors of the season, and listen to the quiet language of nature through my camera and microphone.
The crisp air of early morning carried the scent of fallen leaves as I pedaled along winding forest roads. Yatsugatake’s scenery changed with every turn — from golden larch forests to clear mountain streams. Riding through such beauty, I often stopped to take photographs, not just of the landscapes but of the small, fleeting moments that define autumn in Japan.

秋の八ヶ岳を自転車で巡る旅 ー シカ、タヌキ、そして森の声
この秋、私は八ヶ岳連峰をぐるりと自転車で一周する旅に出ました。
目的はただひとつ――秋色に染まる山々の息づかいを感じながら、写真と音で自然の美しさを記録すること。
早朝の冷たい空気には落ち葉の香りが混じり、ペダルを踏むたびに季節の音が響きます。
道は曲がるごとに景色を変え、黄金色のカラマツ林や澄んだ沢のせせらぎが現れました。
そのたびに自転車を止め、シャッターを切り、目の前の「今」を残していきました
