Copperhead Strike is the newest roller coaster to open at Carowinds! The ride officially opened on March 23rd, 2019 and on the ride's very busy opening day, had to run one train operations for a brief amount of time. I witnessed the ride breaking down earlier in the day and I think that breakdown had to due with why the ride went down to one train operations. In this video, I explain how the breakdown occurred, what could have caused it, and explain the cool way the ride will relaunch a stranded train.
