GIS Technology Days in Armenia

🌍🚀 With the joint effort of @esrigram, the global leader in geographic information systems, and Geovibe, Armenia hosted a two-day “GIS Technologies Days” event, and COAF proudly took part.

COAF’s Chief Operating Officer, Tsovinar Soghomonyan, shared how we use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technologies to enhance the impact of its programs and pass these skills on to the next generation. Students and the instructor of the newly launched GIS program at the SMART Center also spoke about their early discoveries and excitement for the field. The presentation continued the following day at the COAF SMART Center in Lori. 🗺️✨

🌍🚀 Esri աշխարհատեղեկատվական համակարգերի առաջատար ընկերության և Գեովայբի համագործակցությամբ Հայաստանում անցկացվեց «GIS տեխնոլոգիաների օրեր» երկօրյա իրադարձությունը, որին մասնակցում էր նաև ՔՈԱՖ-ը։

Հիմնադրամի գործառնությունների գծով տնօրեն Ծովինար Սողոմոնյանը ներկայացրեց, թե ինչպես է ՔՈԱՖ-ը կիրառում GIS (աշխարհագրական տեղեկատվական համակարգ) տեխնոլոգիաները՝ իր ծրագրերն ավելի արդյունավետ դարձնելու և այդ կարողությունները նոր սերնդին փոխանցելու նպատակով։ ՍՄԱՐԹ կենտրոնում վերջերս մեկնարկած GIS ծրագրի մասին այդ օրը պատմեցին նաև երեխաներն ու ծրագրավարը: Ներկայացումը շարունակվեց նաև հաջորդ օրը Լոռու ՔՈԱՖ ՍՄԱՐԹ կենտրոնում։ 🗺️✨
