Walking in a very quiet small beautiful waterfall located near Marayoor Munnar. The water is very clean and crystal clear. It also has a nice white color. There are a lot of monkeys, so be careful with the items on your hand. The waterfalls, no matter how small or large they are, and the sounds of the water flowing through them all give us so much relax, peace and refreshing our mind.
The Lakkom waterfall is part of Eravikulam stream, drains down from the rocky precipices of Eravimala Plateau (7300 ft above MSL, Mean Sea Level) of Eravikulam National Park Munnar. The stream is one of the major tributaries of river Pambar. The Pambar, like the other two east flowing rivers; which are Kabani and Bhavani; crosses the state limits and eventually joins to river Cauvery (Kaveri),
