Police DAV Public School, Ludhiana organised its Annual Day on Thursday, November 14, 24 amidst ecstasy, exhilaration, and vigor. The day was titled around the theme, ‘Rashtra Hitaye Vishva Manglaya’. The students’ theaterical presentation showcased Women Empowerment, Design in India- Design for India(six pillars of Viksit Bharat) Water Conservation, Human Capital Flight through a myriad of performances. The day was graced with the esteemed presence of Honourable Chief Guest Padma Shri Arya Ratan, Sh.Poonam Suri ji, President of DAV CMC,New Delhi , Sh.G. Nageshwar Rao, IPS, ADGP (Provisioning) cum Chairman of the School and by an illustrious assembly of guests, including Sh. Kuldeep Singh Chahal, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana Range, Dr. S.S. Johl, Vice-Chairman of the School LMC, Ms. Dhanpreet Kaur, IPS, IG Ludhiana, Ms. Gurmeet Kaur, ADCP HQ,Ludhiana , Dr. Rashmi Vij, Principal cum ARO,Manager of the School Mrs.J.K.Sidhu , Principal cum ARO. The program commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the Honorable Chief Guests, dignitaries and the Principal, which was followed by the presentation of school report by the Principal, Dr. Anu Verma. In her speech, she highlighted the school's achievements over the past years, including outstanding academic results, sports accomplishments and commitment to holistic education. Awards and accolades were presented to the students for excellence in their academics, sports and extracurricular activities. The most memorable moments of the function were marked by the pearls of wisdom and appreciation by the Chief Guest during an address to the parents. He shared that achievements already made by the school are testimony to the vision of its founders and are a clear indicator of what they are heading for. Dr Rashmi Vij, Manager of the School, congratulated the school team for creating a niche for itself and establishing credibility as an institution par excellence imparting value based quality education with an equal stress on curricular and co-curricular activities. Dr. Anu Verma, Principal of the school thanked all the dignitaries and she congratulated the meritorious students. The day concluded on a happy note encouraging the students to establish further milestones in the journey of success.
