Successful Artist Booth at Autumn Festival Canterbury Park MN 2025

Right after Twin Cities Con 2025, we participated in our first Autumn Festival through Huffman Productions, Inc. We have been in their spring festivals in the same location but we needed to build up to this year for a 4 day event. Feeling more confident that we would have enough inventory for an event that has crowds around 35,000 we took a chance and applied. Once we got in, we were busy leading up to the festival and worried because we had another event the previous weekend. Somehow, we made it work! Our first year was a success with one of our top events of the year! We have to say that most of this was due to loyal customers finding us again and we can’t thank everyone enough. Our space at this event was small, a 10x10, but we made it work and we plan on applying again next year. We should share that many other creators said their numbers were down from previous years, but that is a common theme this year for many of us. Being a first year event, we didn’t have anything to compare it to but the crowd was bigger than our previous event. Financially, we also did better on the opening day than the weekend before. This crowd was also very different from the convention crowds and is more crafty than anime or comic themed. Let’s just say that there were many lawn ornaments and wood signs being carried around with things for the lake or cabin. Overall, we were happy with our experience and the size of the crowd, which means we hope to be back next year!
