This Is Why BET Blacklisted Pooch Hall After He Left 'The Game'

As Derwin Davis, Pooch Hall nailed the role as the football wide receiver on “The Game,” and fans were instantly drawn to the storyline of his tumultuous career and his relationship with Tia Mowry’s character, Melanie Barnett.

BET had a good thing going, but in, May 2012, they announced Pooch wouldn’t be returning to the show. At first, it sounded like an amicable business decision, but that wasn’t the case. Following his departure, Pooch’s life went into a downward spiral, and he accused BET of shutting him out of opportunities.
