Ballycastle is a popular seaside town situated on the North Antrim Coast and is the gateway to Northern Ireland's only populated offshore island - Rathlin. Better known for the "Auld Lammas Fair" Ballycastle has been hosting this annual event since the 17th Century and the event marks the end of summer and the beginning of harvest. The fair is held annually on the last Monday and Tuesday of August.
