The Smart Waste Management System leverages IoT technology to monitor waste levels and gas emissions in real-time. Using an ESP32 microcontroller, the system integrates an ultrasonic sensor to detect the fill level of a garbage bin and a gas sensor (like MQ-2 or MQ-135) to monitor harmful gases. Data is sent to a web dashboard for live monitoring, helping municipalities or facility managers optimize waste collection routes and schedules. This reduces fuel usage, avoids overflow, and ensures a cleaner environment.
