At a lung-busting 10,500 feet above sea level, this place isn't just high on elevation - it's high on pure Rocky Mountain magic.

I'm going full history nerd at the National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum, then diving even deeper into Leadville's gritty past at the Historical Society. We're talking authentic mining gear, incredible artifacts, and tales of the tough-as-nails miners who called this sky-high town home. This stuff is the real deal!
When the mountain air finally gets to me, I'm crashing at a local RV park where camping literally means sleeping closer to the stars. Trust me, the views from up here will make your Instagram followers weep with envy.
