If you're running the GDW bar, Dhuum is where it really shines. GDW all your teammates except the SoS. With perma QZ, you can perma maintain GDW on your 6 teammates. Other times to use GDW during the run before Dhuum include:
-GDW the T3 at chamber spike as he might be bowing any late nightmares,
-GDW the SoS and spiker during the run to help them kill any leftover targets such as skeles and mindblades,
-GDW the LT after the vale ball is dead to speed up his top group,
-GDW the friendly vale spirits to speed up vale quest.
Furthermore, if your team was fast during escort, you can update escort souls from vale while vale is being balled. And as you leave vale for UWG, you can be nice and pull the 6 tortured spirits for the SoS.
2021/05/02 Minor update: At the first chamber spike, do not give Prot Bond to the spiker/SoS. The nightmares on the right side will cast Rend and cancel the T4's Wastrels. On the same note, the spiker shouldn't use Lyssa's Aura on the first spike.
