“When I think of homes standing empty, I think of the people I know that are suffering. I think of the people I know that are sleeping on the street tonight. I think of the over twenty people who got referred here in the last few weeks, and that I had to look at their names, read their story and recognise that I had to reject all of them - because we don’t have anywhere for them to go.”
