It's time! It's football season once again! The first game that officially kicked off the 2024-25 NCAA D1 FBS season was the game at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, between Florida State and Georgia Tech. Here is one of Georgia Tech's famous cheers - "Budweiser".
The "Budweiser" cheer, sometimes known as "the Buzzweiser song", was originally written by Steve Karmen and was made as a jingle in a Budweiser commercial in the 70s. Around the same time, it was popularized and played by the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Marching Band, up to this day. It is typically played between the 3rd and 4th quarters at football games, as well as before and after athletic events. The band, as well as the student sections, are encouraged to alternatively bob up and down to the beat.
And now, hope you enjoy and Go Jackets!
