In this study from @linesandcolors100, I draw a seated figure using a 15 × 12 cm grid template — a simple and effective way to establish proportion and rhythm in composition.
Once the drawing is complete, I paint the figure in Burnt Sienna with touches of Titanium White, exploring the quiet dialogue between transparent and opaque watercolor.
In the B-roll, I show how a 10 × 8 cm grid can be used to fit four small studies on an A4 manga sheet, allowing artists to plan composition and color schemes before working on a final piece.
In this video:
Using grid templates for accurate figure drawing
Planning compositions on an A4 manga sheet
Mixing Burnt Sienna and Titanium White for tonal variation
Building form through transparent and opaque watercolor layers
A quiet exercise in structure, tone, and simplicity — where lines and colors meet in harmony.
